March is a specific time which we come together to acknowledge & celebrate resourceful, resilient women who have impacted our communities and cultures throughout history. Each year there is a theme for National Women’s History Month. The theme for 2024 highlights “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.” This year’s theme recognizes women throughout national history who understand/have understood that, for a positive future, we need to eliminate bias and discrimination entirely from our lives and institutions. Every year, Yin. also makes sure to choose a women’s charity to give back to. This year, we’re switching it up a bit to give back to small minority woman-owned business(es) who share similar missions for their communities.
